Fear is the unknown of what will become when I am gone

Blood flow from the sky, onto the silent earth - my silent cries
as black as the day before me
How can you protect me from a hell I am already living?

I want to leave this place, I want to find another life
it is something only alive in nightmares
Dead in this world and dead without

finding beauty in darkness
and happiness from depression
It is a cold step ahead,
away from the only life I've ever known

Along the path, the footsteps lost
Blinding from the past and away from the present
the last voice can be heard of the fallen before me
This path may not be so cold
